Admission to Biola University’s FTR program is highly competitive. We want creative students who are willing to have their faith stretched and their talent expanded. Examine what you offer Biola and the entertainment industry. Carefully consider your passions and gifts. Clarify your calling to Film/TV/Radio. Currently less than half of the students who apply are accepted into the program. So apply early, apply well.

ADMISSION PROCESS
Admission to the FTR major requires a separate FTR Mass Communications application that is subsequent to and separate from your application to Biola University. Admission to FTR is contingent upon your admission to Biola University.

Applications to the FTR major will not be considered until after the applicant has been admitted to Biola University.

Admission to Biola University does not guarantee admission into the FTR major of the Mass Communication Department.

After you have completed your application to Biola University, submit your application to the FTR major by the appropriate deadline.

The full department faculty will prayerfully review your application.

Notifications concerning your acceptance to the FTR major will be processed by groups as listed on the application schedule page available from the Admissions Department.

OVERVIEW OF APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1. Submit your application to Biola University
2. Submit your application to the FTR major at the same time you submit your application to Biola OR AFTER your application to Biola.
3. Receive notification of admission to Biola University.
4. Application reviewed by the FTR department.
5. Receive notification of admission to the FTR major.
